Can Denise (Catherine Bell)  and Frank’s (Tony Serpico) marriage survive Denise’s infidelity? Frank is coming home because rumors of his wife’s infidelity reached him out in the field. Denise’s friends are giving her the cold shoulder and Denise herself is struggling with her choices and how they are affecting her.

Army Wives is a great show for demonstrating how the women and the wives stand behind each other, support each other and struggle with their lives, their husband’s deployments and more. The friendship between the wives is emphasized. Unlike on other shows, these women aren’t in competition so much with each other as they are competing with the obstacles life throws at them, the military and how separation affects them.

In Denise’s case, being cut off from her friends is as painful if not more so than what will happen with Frank. She needs her support group now more than ever. Is Denise a bad person for having an affair? No, not really. She was a 19 year old kid who married a pretty inflexible guy. Over the years, Frank’s not always been the kindest, most loving soul.

Denise needed to feel a human connection, she needed to feel sexy and desirable. She made a bad decision, but it was a human one.  What do you think will happen with Frank and Denise? Whose side are you on?
