Season One Images

Season one of True Blood introduced vampire Bill to the residents of Bon Temps as he took over his old family homestead. Sookie and Bill became involved while a serial killer stalked the women of the town. The women were known as 'fang-bangers' or vampire lovers. Jason Stackhouse was suspected of the crimes and for a time, even Jason believed he was guilty. Images include those of Rene, Arlene's lover and Amy, Jason's lover and V-juice addict.

Season Two Images

Season two offers up new characters including Daphne (a shapeshifter), Mary Ann (a manead), Godric (vampire), Stan, Barry, Queen Sophie and so much more. The Fellowship of the Sun is a large prescence as season two splits its time between Dallas and Bon Temps, but the temperatures and storylines remain scorching hot.

The second season of the popular HBO series is loosely based on Charlaine Harris' novel Living Dead in Dallas. However the series is allowing greater focus on secondary characters in Bon Temps while Sookie travels with Eric and Bill to the Lone Star State to investigate the missing Godric. Other subtle differences from the novel's storylines keep the show fresh and interesting for fans of both.

Lafayette Lives On

The survival of Lafayette played by Nelsan Ellis is a noticeable difference from the novel. Ellis' over the top portrayal earned a number of fans during the first season and months of hushed expectations and crossed fingers as fans waited from November 2008 to June 2009 to discover whether it was Lafayette's painted toes that fell out of the back of Andy's car.

Lafayette's involvement with Eric promises to add another layer to the elder vamp's interest in telepath Sookie Stackhouse. Eric's fascination with Sookie and her abilities is a source of friction with Bill Comptom, Sookie's vampire lover, who cannot deny Eric his wishes.
