Season One Episodes
Get caught up on episodes of True Blood beginning with this guide to True Blood episodes from the series' freshman season. Strange Love Vampires revealed themselves to the general public after a Japanese company releases synthetic blood called "True Blood." Sookie Stackhouse, a telepathic waitress who works at Merlotte's Bar in Bon Temps, LA is startled and pleased to meet her first ever vampire: Bill Compton. Sookie saves Bill from drainers. Sookie's best friend Tara comes to work at Merlotte's.
The First Taste Bill saves Sookie from the drainers attack, giving her his blood to heal her injuries. She then invites him to a social hour with her grandmother, referred to affectionately as Gran. Her desires lead her back to his estate where she encounters some less than kind vampires.
Mine Sam and Tara hook up to escape their loneliness. Bill stakes his claim on Sookie in front of the other vamps. Jason turns to Lafayette for help when he can't 'perform' for Dawn.
Escape from Dragon House Jason ends up in jail after Dawn is found dead. Tara gives Jason an alibi. Gran encourages Sookie to help her brother. Bill takes Sookie to Fangtasia for the first time where she catches Eric's eye.
Sparks Fly Out Bill charms Gran's church group with his Civil War recollections. Bill recalls the vampire that changed him as he tried to return to his family. Lafayette tempts Jason with more v-juice. Sam decides to pursue Sookie.
Cold Ground Gran's murder leaves Sookie and Jason reeling. Tara's mother wants money to exorcise her inner demons. Jason begins suffering withdrawal without more V-juice.
Burning House of Love Sookie confesses that her Uncle Bartlett molested her as a child. Bill takes action to eliminate him. Tara pays for her mother's exorcism while wrestling with her own inner demon. Rednecks burn down a house where the trio of vamps from Bill's were staying. Jason meets free spirit Amy.
The Fourth Man in the Fire Rene proposes to Arlene while Jason and Amy explore their relationship. Sookie is relieved to find Bill alive and agrees to help Eric with a vampire problem at Fangtasia. Tara is startled to see how different her mother is.
Plaisir d'Amour Bill kills a vampire to save Sookie. He faces trial for his crime. Jason and Amy kidnap Lafayette's vampire friend Eddie in order to drain him. Sookie's cat is the next murder victim she finds. Bill asks Sam to protect Sookie.
I Don't Want To Know
Sam reveals his secret to Sookie. Tara celebrates purging her own demon. Jason and Amy continue to fight over what to do with Eddie. Bill turns Jessica as restitution for his staking another vamp. Sookie is stalked during Rene and Arlene's engagement party.
To Love is to Bury Sookie and Sam investigate a link to the murders. Bill is upset when he finds Sookie in Sam's arms. Tara's odd accident in the previous episode leaves her at odds with her mother over getting bailed out of jail. Amy kills Eddie leaving Jason to clean up the mess. Jason finds himself back in jail when Amy is killed next to him.
You'll Be the Death of Me Tara is bailed out of jail by Maryann who offers her a second chance. Sookie must fight for her life when she figures out the murderer. Lafayette disappears. Jason gets a new lease on life from a religious zealot.
Season Two Episodes
Season two episodes of True Blood Began airing on HBO in June 2009 and will feature 12 episodes, airing regularly on Sunday nights until September 2009. While rumors of season three continue to swirl, no confirmation is available as of July 2009.
