Just as some people cannot not talk about what they know, so Internet fans cannot help themselves but to reveal everything they know, often neglecting to label it with a spoiler warning. When visiting message boards and other Internet sites devoted to soap operas, exercise caution not only in reading, but also in posting.

If you're interested in spoilers, always read them with a grain of salt. It is best to judge the spoiler as a ‘possibility’ rather than a ‘definite’ happening. Some websites post spoilers anonymously or from anonymous sources. These spoilers do not necessarily come from ‘insiders’ or anyone else that may know. In general, storylines are plotted 12 weeks out with some sketchy ideas of where characters ‘may’ be in the future.

The realm of daytime drama is fluid and depends as much on actor chemistry as on storyline decisions. Actors leaving or replaced midstream can also have a profound effect on the storyline. Enjoy spoilers for their potential entertainment value, but keep in mind that until it happens on the small screen, nothing is set in stone.
