Everwood Spoilers

From LoveToKnow Soap-Operas

Everwood spoilers focus on the television program Everwood. The show aired for four seasons on the now defunct WB Network from 2002 to 2006. When the WB Network merged with the UPN Network to form the CW, the show received cancellation orders. The program is available on DVD, and fans in many markets can watch reruns in syndication.

About Everwood Spoilers

Everwood focused on the lives of several families living in Everwood, Colorado. Dr. Andy Brown (Treat Williams) relocates his family from Manhattan to the Colorado town following the death of his wife. Many of the storylines over the four years focused on the Brown family’s adjustment to life in Everwood and their interactions with the Abbotts.

The show is a particular favorite of television spoiler and gossip gurus Kristin Dos Santos and Michael Ausiello. Everwood spoilers appeared frequently in their columns (Ausiello wrote for T.V. Guide.com at the time) and both mourned the loss of the show when it went off the air.

Watching Everwood

Episodes of Everwood can be found online at TheWB.com. The Internet channel features episodes from many WB favorites including Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Smallville and Buffy the Vampire Slayer to name a few.

Season one of Everwood is available for purchase from Amazon.com, but only season one. As of January 2009, no details on future releases for seasons two, three and four are available.

Keeping Up with Everwood

Everwood spoilers focused on fan favorites, family adjustments and romance. Emily VanCamp’s Amy Abbott shared a special relationship with Ephram Brown. Their sweet romance inspired many fans who rooted for them. When the show ended, a letter writing campaign to the CW network failed to bring it back to life and actress VanCamp joined the ABC family drama Brothers and Sisters, ending all speculative hope for an Everwood reunion.

Everwood creator Greg Berlanti also created, wrote and executive produced Jack & Bobby as well as serving as executive producer on Brothers and Sisters and Dirty Sexy Money. Berlanti’s skill with character driven dramas is being tapped for a 2010 film featuring the Green Lantern from DC Comics.

Powerful Storylines

In the first season, Dr. Andy Brown (Williams) treats a patient named Colin Hart. Colin’s been a coma for many months, but Amy makes friends with Ephram in an effort to use him to convince his father to operate on her boyfriend. When Dr. Brown finally, agrees, the surgery is successful and Colin awakes. Unfortunately Colin also has no memories of his previous relationships including Amy. He and Ephram become friends, but Colin’s increasingly erratic behavior proves something is wrong with him. Eventually, Colin’s family agrees to another surgery, but when season two begins, viewers learn that Colin passed away on the operating table.

The stigma of Colin’s case affects the Brown family for the rest of the series as well as the budding relationship between Amy and Ephram. Amy’s feelings for Ephram conflict with her previous feelings for Colin. As the series progresses, the Browns and the Abbotts find a way to connect with each other and the town they serve.
